If possible, perform fabrication “on-site” to increase accuracy. Be sure to allow for saw kerf (usually 3/16”) when performing take-offs and layouts. For a nice looking installation, cut panels so bars of adjoining panels are aligned and leave a solid bar on all sides. The guideline includes recommended sizes and configurations, recommended design criteria, and referenced standards, where applicable Technical DocumentsSelect a document to download Data Sheet | | | Dynaform Structural ShapesGRP Structural Shapes Dynaform Structural ShapesGRP Structural ShapesDynaform pultruded fiberglass structural shapes from Fibergrate Composite Structures Inc. are used in a wide range of applications, providing a unique combination of corrosion resistance, high strength, dimensional stability and light weight, along with thermal and electric non-conductivity. Durable Dynaform shapes provide years of low maintenance service in areas where steel, aluminum or wood components were traditionally specified. Today, these shapes are often used in highly corrosive applications where stainless steel and other expensive components were once required. Pultrusion gets its name from the method by which the profiles are made. Raw materials are literally pulled by what we call "the puller." "The puller" is the machine made up of pulling pads, which grip the product, and a drive system which keeps the product moving. "The puller" is located just before the final cut-off saw.
